I don't know why any company does away with HU. Just jack the rake up to the point it's barely beatable. If no one plays, it's no different then getting rid of the game. If idiots play, you profit.

It's about minimizing the fun players' lossrates so that their money lasts longer and have a better shot at profiting, thus increasing the amount of play, the fun players' general experience and the total rake as well. That's the idea at least. One might argue that some fun players might enjoy HU more than spins etc. In spite of their lossrate (however you want to measure it) being higher in HU games.

Just wanted to inform people that the player "ThatsItBoy" is the biggest hunter I´ve ever seen on stars. The guy basically just sits the 200/500NL zoom pools if there is a weak spot and avoids playing the reg by stalling against him until he finishes the hand with the rec player so this way he gets to play as few reg vs reg hands as he can. This is next level bumhunting, I'm reporting him and hope other regs would do as well

I doubt what he is doing is against the rules, They give you a certain amount of time for each decision, is there a rule saying you can't use the time they give you?

I think that you can't take any advantage by slowplaying like this guy is doing.

This is the answer of stars support:

Deliberate slow playing is unacceptable as it demonstrates poor etiquette and contravenes the spirit of the game. Players are welcome to take the allotted time with difficult decisions or when deciding how to play your hand, but deliberately delaying games is not tolerated.

Since when did poor etiquette and contravening the spirit of the game matter to Stars?

Oh I see! Slow play effects their bottom line!

I submitted a detailed video recording of Also11 changing his # of entries according to whether or not he was playing the rec, which is far worse than playing deliberately slow vs regs in individual hands, and Stars did nothing about it. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I know, I just wanna make public what those guys are doing but I don't really expect stars to do anything. Thank you anyway.

Hey guys, it has been a while since I have been active on 2+2 but thought I would just share my thread I created about my new career path. I have started a healthy living/eating blog focusing on allergy free food. Link to the thread is below:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/85.../#post51311999

I won't link to the blog as I know people within the poker community don't like clicking links (me included) so you can just google healthy living james instead if you wish.

Peace!

It's good that you are. It can make a difference even if stars doesn't act on it. Keep it up.

I stacked the guy who was sitting in the lobby 4x in the first 60 hands. We then played 272 hands where he recovered 2 buyins over that period. When I sat out he said I was hit an running him. I disagreed and asked him what a necessary # of hands is and he didn't respond.

I don't know the etiquette as I don't play much HUNL cash. But I'm pretty sure I gave him a fair shot.

I appreciate the name calling though

Hitrunning implies you simply double up in a few hands and run instantly afterwards. Which is totally fine as you don't own anyone any number of hands.
