Hi all. Can someone give me I suppose a confidence boost. I have played 22,000 hands of headsup 50NL. I am a 5bb/100 winner including rakeback. I am running 2.5 stacks under EV. I had a really bad run for 10,000 hands and was at one point 17 buy ins under EV yet still break even in win rate and I closed the gap. I have ran into a few coolers and I am still losing with AA all in preflop over my sample (in fact this is one of the hands I have lost the most money on since I got stacked vs AJ and KQ). I am also losing on the BTN in 3 bet pots more than I should be but I haven't really flopped anything and the vast majority of opponents barrel turns about 80% of their flop betting range (I don't know if this is correct but I doubt it, so basically floating with backdoor draws is out, I have been folding say backdoor flush and straight draw with no overs to a cbet in 3 bet pots, not sure if right or not but hard to float vs people who always barrel).

It may be misguided but I do think if I got a bit luckier with cooler situations I would have a higher win rate, at least I should be a couple more stacks up. That being said, I also think 5bb/100 or even slightly higher if I was running at EV, seems kind of low for all the fish at the stakes. The fact that this includes rakeback is bad too because my actual win rate then is around 2.5bb/100.

I am not sure if I am folding too much in the BB. My VPIP is 63% - I just use Snowie's ranges so I call a lot more vs a min raise than I do vs a 3x. I am check calling in the BB about 50% of the time and check raising the flop only about 5% of the time (maybe this is too low). My win rate in the SB is 7.38bb/100 and in the BB -2.27/100 over the sample. All of my winnings are redline and my blue line is negative. At one point in the downswing where I was really far under EV and faced a lot of coolers I Was 16 stacks in the negative on my blueline but I was still break even due to redline. My blue line has since slowly improved to breakeven but then I got another 8 stack downswing in it (redline held steady). Therefore, I am simply just not winning at showdown much. Maybe I am calling too much? Although I do think some of it is up to coolers like QQ vs AA all in pre etc.

If Snowie's ranges suck could someone maybe point me in the direction of reasonable ranges? I use Snowie ranges as a baseline and then may change them depending on the opponent but I haven't had a problem with them so far.

You should definitely check/raise more.
One advice could be to tighten up preflop a little bit, until you have a good grasp of post-flop fundamentals.

Check/raising is a very loose line though, and requires experience to do it right. You will end up in many turn spots not sure what to do.
