Re: *******HU CASH Regs thread*******

vs a reg, no good reads

Hero (BTN/SB): $600.00
BB: $2734.00

Pre Flop: ($9.00) Hero is BTN/SB with A A
Hero raises to $18, BB calls $12

Flop: ($36.00) 8 9 Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $30.00, BB raises to $96, Hero ?

if we call, i assume our plan is to calldown on all K/7/6/5/4/3/2 turn/river combinations?

Re: *******HU CASH Regs thread*******

What's all the US HU players plans if there is a 15 month blackout period? I'm pretty much locked into staying in the US since I have a family/dogs/house/life here. Seems like a few sites will still be open, but I would expect the bums to be extremely hard to get since so many regs will be competing for them. I'm a little unclear too about this blackout period, would US sites be popping up immediately or even at all during this period? I live like 1.5 hours from Foxwoods, so I guess that's an option, but won't that get very competitive if online players have no other option?

Wouldn't you also have to find someone in a foreign country who'd identity you could use? Otherwise, how are you going to get your cashouts?

So say for instance there is a 15 month blackout and I move to Costa Rica or Thailand or wherever to grind for a while. How will that work? I still am a US citizen so...?

Also I might be interested in doing this if its feasible.

Foxwoods might be just as good an option as Euro sites, cause any young guy with no ties making good money online would be crazy not to move out of country for the 15 months and grind euro sites, they're going to be pretty gnarly imo.

You guys are overestimating euro traffic IMO. It wouldnt take very many winning regs moving into the smaller eurosite games to kill them. Plus you've got all the europeans who play on stars/ftp for VIP program reasons who will migrate to euro sites too if stars/ftp traffic does drop off a load.

so you have a foreign address and don't give a **** about US restrictions. You also get a better climate and healthier food at the expense of having to pay almost nothing for housing, food etc

Yeah I understand that but as a US citizen you are supposed to pay taxes in the US even if you earn money abroad and I will likely need to use a US bank to do transactions.

are you saying you cant use/get a foreign bank account if your a US citizen? There is no way that can be right. From what I know about it some of the non- US sites require you to show proof of your ID before you are even allowed to deposit, so in that case youd have to get a foreign ID, which may be a problem but i dunno. But for the sites that dont require that I would think getting a bank account and a foreign address wouldnt be a huge problem.

I had this exact same spit yesterday bet AA on 8,9,10 flop with FD. Called a check raise stacks were 100bb deep and I was shoving over all 234568KA's. It came a queen and he bet 3/4 pot I let it go..not sure it's a tricky spot with no reads.
