Are there really some hands which will make more loss than 0.5bb/1? If so maybe the loss is overcompensated by higher winnings through our other hands because we get payed off more often!?
Then I saw Sauce opening only something like 80ish…wasn't he the one who was pretty sure about opening 100% was correct? Why did he or you tighten up now?
Because his opponents adjusted and they are likely extremely proficient. I would never open 100% vs a competent reg who defends 80%. If you're playing someone who folds more than 30% pf just min raise 100%. If you multi table trying to tweak that is going to be more of a whore than its worth. If they don't 3 bet more than 20% and they're a fish which they likely are at small stakes anyway, just open 100%. If they are maniac 3 betting you will have to adjust. Vs balls out ******s who 3 bet 40% plus you can restrict your open min raises down to 75%. Other strategies may perform slightly better but they are complicated and imo just open 100% until they give you a reason not to.
