So I ment if I would check behind this flop, I'm betting turn for value very thin if checked to.

But you're right, it probably doesn't matter that much.

If a villain is good he would be able to adjust by checking back pairs if you're gonna bet/bet.
Villian can't adjust by checking back pairs before he have seen us bet/bet, if he does so it's not an adjustment.
But I feel like that hand is done.
Being aggro in the beginning vs a reg is usually good, being a bit more passive vs a fish and see what he does is usually good as well.

I am talking about the type of fish or weak reg that folds to 3bets like 15% but folds to cbets in 3bet pots like 70%.

I usually just end up 3betting my standard 18% polar range but feel like I could be making a good adjustment like flatting some of my value hands and 3betting more bluffs just to win with a cbet.
If I saw someone flat all my 3bets but fold to my cbet I would simply 3bet 27o and my worst 25% of hands or something. Highest possible EV with that part of my range and I will crush his range in SRP.
3betting hands for value is only a good option if you can extract value.
This is quite extreme but it's a bad idea to be balanced against people who are unbalanced themselves and don't adjust. You're giving up money.

Fwiw with the A3 example hand, I agree that bet/bet is best, because him checking back indicates showdown value. All these type of hands trump ours, therefore we should bluff. He will call once/fold river a tonne with better hands. If I check hoping to get to showdown, I generally check/fold unless I have seen him delayed cbetting on dry boards before. So yeah, bet/bet would be my default.

Just posted, because I think people so often don't bluff enough with hands, because they falsely believe they have a load of showdown value.

+1, that movie didn't get nearly close to the attention it deserved, one of the best movies of the last decade for sure.

An actual movie, instead of a mix of comedy/horror/action/chick-drama sprinkled with enough cliches and PC'ness to make you want to murder babies...

Get the Flash Player to use the Hold'em Manager Replayer.

    just to be fancier c/r>c/f>b

bet/bet-my experience is that we'll get looked up quite often here.

as a stereotype minraisers delayed cbet more.so he may have a crappier range than a pot control heavy one.so betting a gay amount OTT then giving up river might be an option too.
c/r may look suspicious to most regs b/c we bet/bet most Qs here.but having a turn c/r(flop check check) in your arsenal against a "min raise/flop cbet less, delayed cbet more type players" is very effective, harder to adjust because it counters the base of their strategy.
