The best one I watched recently was Apocolypto which was excellent, also watched The Last of The Mohicans which was great, and Drive because everyone has been ranting and raving about it, and I thought it was good but has been over-hyped.

Here's a random general heads up poker thing, hand history is made up, just a standard spot.

Hand very early in match vs reg, no reads or stats yet

I would probably check/call.
I expect him to bet all his valuehands on the flop and this seems like a flop he could give up on, but if we check twice a lot of people will put in a small bet to get us off our air.
Once we call turn I don't expect him to bluff again.

Bet turn and bet river is fine against some villians but it's not my default.
I rather get to showdown a couple of times before I make that adjustment.

(After 140 hands you should know more than enough,by the time you have his steal/bbvip/3bet etc etc you should also know enough to make some adjustments.)

It got good reviews though so its probably just me. I also didn't like drive, and nobody I've talked to in person did either but overall it seems to be pretty popular.

Source code was rly nice imo. I have a cinema subscription and compared to the **** they show normally Source Code and Drive are just top notch movies.
The last one I saw and kinda liked was 50/50.

Definitely bet, once he checks back the flop we're always behind. I like bet/bet, expecting to get called 90%+ on the turn and to fold 90% of his unimproved range on the river.

Regs will sometimes give up with air as a general strategy when the flop hits a tight PF bb defending range, such as on KT3r.

This flop however doesn't hit a bb defending range hard enough to not justify a cbet with air, so I expect to see 6x, 8x, 77/55-33/22 and A highs 90% of the time, all of which will call once and fold river.

I think people cbet much lighter for value/protection on wet boards, not this kind of board.
Here to me, a check back on the flop screams of pot control wanting to get to SD.

A common mistake in these spots if to think we have SD value when in fact we're almost never good.

So yeah..best line vs a reg readless is bet/bet with shutdown on pairing board, imo.

Anyone else having trouble importing hands using Pokertracker??

Hands are importing as usual on Partypoker...

Never had this problem before, it is only with PokerStars... which I just downloaded new software


Tried using Mac & PC they import about 2 hands and then stop.......

I miss the old thread. Nothing like the occasional poker talk during low content jibberish.


EDIT: Also, Source Code sucks. Can't even remember whether I finished it or not.
