i'll give you mine: since we have a range advantage before the flop (we did 3bet) why not polarise our range on some (good for the 3better range) flops ?

Since I have a charisma advantage, I try to bang a chick for a $40 dinner. She gets offended that I think she is so cheap; thus, she goes into defense mode trying to punish me and rip me off for $400 by starting speaking out loud something like "Are you trying to sexually assault me?". I see a cop not far away; an experience tells me that he's got a gun and at least a partner not far away with another gun. But instead of trying to smooth her out calmly and finally get in her panties I decided to polarise my action and show her a hundred bucks banknote saying I bet you'll spread those sexy legs for me now.

P.S. But in this specific case after seeing a $100, she grabs my hand and takes me to the bathroom and begs to bang her in a doggy style right now. Did I get very lucky? Oh noooo!!! I deserved it and bragged about it on the kids forum showing off pic of me inside her mouth.

aren't overbets used when you opponents ranged is capped? Here your opponent can have all sets, he can have the straight, or most suited two pairs... I don't really know if you are going to want to go with this size with your overpairs so it's just kinda fishy. also (haven't seen spoiler yet) I would think your opponent isn't just jamming one pair here unless it has a straight draw also. You're getting 800:250 which is 16:5 close to 3:1 so you need 25% about against his range. If you're up against two pair or better you've got 4 outs for 16 percent. If you think he's doing this with a pair plus flush draw it would get better

OP: As mentioned by others, you got lucky he had the one hand that you're ahead of. 25% equity won't be easily realized against his typical default readless range. With reads, metagame, gameflow, sure I don't mind overbetting and calling a jam there...it's an important part of the game, but key here is READLESS this is a bad play IMO.
