What is the right pre-flop strategy when you are big blind and you get Ax offsuited (where x is less than 8).
I think it depends a lot from your opponent, so please let's suppose the first time your opponent is loose and the second time he is tight aggressive.
Do you fold, call or raise?

It depends on the raise size too. Like, if they raise to 80 big blinds, you might not want to call.

Let's say the raise size is a mini-raise x2 or at most x3 bb.

Let's say we have same stack: 100 bb.

You said with 8 bb no fold, that means we have to fold with 100 bb for each player?

Still a call. What Lazaro means, I guess, is that when facing an 8bb raise you have to fold A2o at 100bb deep, but you can still very comfortably call if 8bb deep. Hand values aren`t constant.
