I'm running into this situation continuously of late..

Donkey fish betting PSB into me when I check a flopped GS to them..

e.g. 1st hand of match... fish in SB completes, I check with T8sd

Flop (2bbs): 963r or 963ss
Check, Fish bets 2bbs, Hero ??

I'm wondering if it's better to lead and set my own price in these spots against these droolers? Something like 1bb...?

Also, does effective stacks of 30bbs or 100bbs make a difference in our decision in this spot?

Easy call. Odds aren't great but spr is super high (assuming 100bb) so offsets that. Fold turn unimproved and start to develop a read the adjust.

If 30 BB much tougher but still don't mind a peel vs. a fish if they are doing this light.

You can call down if you have some decent overs in a lot of spots and try and get to showdown to get a feel for the way the guy is playing.
