Help - what to do next?

We agreed upon a deal for the loser to pay the rake and the winner would send the rest to the loser then. We shove all in the next hand. Other player wins. But doesn't send the money, I'm guessing he simply forgot. He has good stats (8,000 games +25k) so I doubt he would try to pull a scam, but I don't know how to go about getting in touch with him since his search is off. Here is the chat from the game (missing chat before the game started in which he said sorry, play or chop?)

bpmst2 said, "chop is fine"
pmst2 said, "even or loser pay rake?"
dmoney731 said, "ea"
dmoney731 said, "yea"
bpmst2 said, "??"
bpmst2 is sitting out
dmoney731 said, "loser pays rake"
bpmst2 said, "ok"
bpmst2 said, "next hand?"
dmoney731 said, "sure"

Again, I dont know how to get in touch with him as I'm sure he simply forgot to send, so any help is appreciated. thx

Re: Help - what to do next?

If he doesn't respond to your requests and is trying to take the money, send pokerstars an email with the chat log. I know they have honored chat agreement previously.

If you still have trouble with them, we'll get a group of Stars husng regs to send a chain email demanding you get your chop back.

Note to people that chop: Make sure that you get your opponent to agree to the chop in the chat, this minimizes any risk of him not paying you, whether voluntarily or not.

Thank you for contacting PokerStars.

Re: Help - what to do next?

There are transfer limits in place for some players at the end of the year (protection against chopping for SNE or supernova I believe). I've had instances recently where transfers took much longer than normal, however it being the same player, something sounds fishy. Ask him to go on mikogo and show the transfer history would be a resonable request in my opinion.

i dont really understand what you mean with the transfer limits and how it works as protection for SNE, ive not heard about that before, if you could elaborate a little that'd be awesome.

its been over 48 hours since he supposedly transferred to me so that definitely seems much longer than normal.

when it happened to you am i right in assuming that he eventually sent the cash??

will definitely ask him for the transfer id... its just tough to catch him when hes online. ive never used mikogo but i guess if he was willing to jump on there that'd definately prove that he had sent it, then id be able to just chase it up with stars.
