Hello guys,

I tested a bit vs the Clever Piggy Bot, i think its a well balanced bot, i like it What do you guys think of it, i cant image that some crushes it hard over a sample of hands?! So i had a not common spot: 100bb deep, im in the bb. 3x open and i call with Q8o. Flop comes J86ss, cbet 3/4 pot and me calling. Turn is a offsuit Q, me leading 3/4 of the pot, Bot calls. River comes a suited 9, now what is my correct play here? (Board:J86Q9sss) I leaded out 1/4 of the Pot, with the plan to fold to a raise. Is anything wrong with this line yet? Maybe in this situation Q8 should be in my c/c range, but i think its very close. The Bot then raise my 250 to 1000, and gave me a good price, can I still fold here, i think i have to?! Another Question, to make this a bit more interesting: If we are the Bot in this hand and got the flush on the river, and its played the same way until the turn, but on the river the opponent checks, what bet sizing would we use for the value bet?

Ps: The Bot had the flush, cant remember the exactly hand...

Why lead the turn? We are building the pot with a hand that can't improve against villians range that has plenty of draws.

Because the bot doesnt semibluff enough, and checks back almost everything weaker than a Q in this spot... i wanted 2 streets of value, i think it was played okay from my position, but a clear fold to river raise.

I like the line vs. most players but I think it can be massively exploited by a good player. I think it's highly unlikely you can balance the turn lead and river blocking bet correctly. The line makes your hand seem face up. If you can balance this line then have to consider whether that's more EV than not doing this (because I suspect you lose some value doing this with nutted hands you would need to balance with)

was playing the bot hibiscusb a little at first it was massively overfolding to all ins . it was folding top two , second nut straights, top pair. so i just kept doing it lol. but now either they have adjusted it or it adjusts to me somehow but its calling super light now. how did they program this thing anyone know is it like ai or gto. gto i dont believe because ive seen it adjust.

I dont think its adjust, ai works like: on a shove i will call with two pair 70% in this spot, and fold 30% in this spot. So sometimes it makes loose calls, somtimes tight folds, just to be perfect balanced. I think the Best way to play against it is to play tight aggressiv, because u dont need a bluffing range ^^ But to learn and understand bluffing/value betting ranges its pretty good and it all makes sense what it does, if u think a bit about it

But if u try to play like against a normal oponend, who can adjust, it getd pretty hard to win over a longer "session"

im actually up on it quite a bit , but it has the weirdest playing style . more like super balanced and then they just didnt think about all in situation at all. if it were a balance it would be more like 90% fold to all in . its weird
