Hey guys

I really need your support, just your tanks of if you have been there.

I stared grind very hard in the micro stakes game games and had put my soul in to the game, more than my jobb as a fireman I would say. Have read all the books and have look in to everything online u can get in to for 2 years, now I'm in the seat that i really want some to talk about poker to someone how can be my mentor!
This is the thing-
I just love the mtt game so much and thats want i want to play, but i don't think i make a profit all the time, i had been on some big final tables, like 25k, 75k, 15k guarantees, but never had that opportunity to take a big one down..

now this it the thing, i are good at the cash game and make a very good profit and thats how i have build my bankroll. in cash games i make it up for the lost in the mtt's i play but i don't enjoy it as much i do with the tournaments, most of the time at the end i had been playing heads up in 0.50-1.00 to 10-20. had even 2-3 sessions on 25-50$ heads up.

nearly every time i had a really bad sessions in tournament i go in to HU games and had always won all the money back with ++ that i lost in mtt's. i had i very good mind game .

I'm maybe play very well cash game but maybe I'm little to afraid to lose everything that i have build up so far.? don't know yet

is that anyone that have the same experience or anyone how can give me some advice what i should play ? i would love it you posted back or maybe mail me if you want to help me out, i think i can contribute as well!

anything would be to GREAT help!

its kind of a waste of time 80% of the posters give terrible advice because they dont know better 15% are trolling and 5% is propably worth reading.

i come here because im used to it.

although i regret it always pretty soon.

but: this time i met a guy sharing an ebook with me he wrote himself. so not everybody here is a dick.

Do you use pokertracker or HEM? It sounds like you have tried learned a lot. That is good. Sounds like you maybe don't understand variance very well. You should read a lot more before you consider trying to be a professional. How many thousands of headsup hands have you played? How many tournaments? You need a lot to have any idea if you are a winning player or not.

Until then, play for fun and keep learning.

To give you some ideas about variance, you need to play a lot of cash hands to know pretty sure that you are a winning player. Numbers I have heard in the past were 50,000-100,000 hands. You need even more if you play different game types and stakes which it sounds like you do.

For MTTs, you probably need to play at least 5,000+ mtts to know if you are a winning player. Number of hands don't really matter.

Don't worry about your cash % or total won. The only thing you should care about is your profit and return.

Variance is very real. Without it noone would play poker because the worse player would for sure know they are a loser. It is ok to learn and even try to make money from poker on the side, but trying to be a professional without a lot more work sounds like a really bad idea. GL

if your a fireman you got money. Hire a coach. Free advice is ok but until you get coaching from a proven veteran player some of the advice is good some is bad. It can be a crap shoot.
