it stand for king of the hill. its when sites cap the number of heads up tables so it leads to the best (or king/s) hu players being the ones who get to sit at the tables.

sorry if this has been posted already but I couldn't find it and I didn't want to look through 45 pages to find the answer.

What kind of bankroll do you need to start playing the lowest HU cash games ? NL50 I think it is on pokerstars. Also would you recommend a beginner to learn and play HU or focus on 6max/FR cash games?

i think 20bis is going to be fine if youre table selecting and only playing weak opponents. the tougher your competition the the more you need.

i would recommend reading through some of the last pages, im sure you find info that helps you.

also, pick a game, pick either HU or 6m or FR, dont splash around, find the game you enjoy most and focus your efforts on that.

1- http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/58...-xpost-632226/

2- DeucesCracked got a Free trial, and they are the best site for HU videos IMO

3- Of course. But probably useless if you cant think by yourself. Review your sessions - look for ways to beat your opponents, patterns, etc.

4- I've read all this topic and most people use the 20/17 rule - Move up with 20, move down with 17 - for bumhunting and 50+ if you plan to play with regs.

5- I don't know, i dont play yet. But probably they are, if you are trying to don't be exploitable, then you already are exploitable. Every actions has their own counteraction.

Dont take my opinion as serious, i'll start playing at $4 NLHU on iPoker, lol.

You can check the Beginners thread, this question has been answered a lot of times.

Looks like DeucesCracked (pr1nnyraiding - S1, S2 and S3-, DogIsHeads Up, etc) and CR are both good options.

I actually seen some videos from pr1nnyraiding and DogIsHeads prefer to watch some other instructors just wasn't sure which ones are highly regarded by HU players here outside Sauce123 and Jungleman etc.

Hey huhhh,

actually we have multiple statuses, and many videos are available for lower statuses that are far less expensive.

Some free Heads-up videos:
http://www.pokerstrategy.com/video/23728 - with Danien 'Jungleman12' Cates
http://www.pokerstrategy.com/video/23899 - with Byron Jacobs
http://www.pokerstrategy.com/video/22794 - with pleno1

Video filter on all Heads-up videos in English:
http://www.pokerstrategy.com/video/#...&page=1&rpp=50

If you speak another language besides English: we have videos in 19 different languages; and some from quite great non-English native players.

If you want more info - or come from the US (we have a special offer soon for US players) -, don't hesitate to drop me a quick mail to lutz@pokerstrategy.com.

Best,
Lutz
