hey guys, I am pretty noob and there is a spot I have trouble to deal with, spot like that (no prf raise) :

flop: 882

and I hold 27 for example, what do to vs a random opponent when we are oop ? first few hans ?

what to do against somoeone playing straightforward ?

I saw in lot of poker book that betting shouldnt be for protection, so should I check in that kind of spot ?

I dont know if I am in the right place to ask this, its my first post

its both a bet for value and protection. protection actually is warranted in some spots

Are the games that much easier at IPoker and Party Poker for players to pay double the cap total?
I believe its max 1 EURO at iPoker. So it is actually more than 1 USD.

I play Micro HUNL and you really depend on longer sessions than most of these scared regs offer. Loads of them quit as soon as they're up quarter of a buyin if they don't feel that they have an advantage over you.
Then you have another 30% who just sit and tables and sitout as soon as you join. Not to mention all the short stackers that turn up with 40bbs.

hi guys, I was wondering what is the best in this kind of spot ?
vilain was very agressive guy, double barreling a lot, and especially that kind of board.

I was pretty sure he didnt hit the flop, giving his bet flop frequencie then his bettsizing pot turn wasnt usual so I think he either has a set or air, 95% of time air i would say.

So what is the best thing to do ? raise to make him fold all his air, or let him bluff and barrel river again and call with A high ?

I think the best action should have been to call turn and call river, but I am wondering if there are some subtilities that I cant see.

call call seems ok with your read

    agree^.

but depending on the river its likely an adjustment based on your reads if you make a call as its pretty loose. btw, u can start a thread if you have a hand thats reasonably interesting or have something of substance to start a discussion. but its fine if you want to keep posting HHs here too, just saying.

If you are up 11 buy ins vs someone in 3k~ hands, is it safe to assume you probably have an (big) edge?

It probably should be obvious to you whether you have and edge at that point ^^

i would like to get some input on tracking sites for stars cash games. i was under the impression that there is no way anymore to see one's results for cash games (besides highstakesdb). however, there were a lot of people referring to my results in chat while playing, i always asked them where you can see results and always got weird answers. i heard from two different and resonably reputable live tourney players at the pca this year that there existed a "secret" Russian site that tracks all hands. maybe it's just a mixture of getting punk'd and listening to rumours, but i'd like to know if anybody knows something here and would share.

There do exist some trackingsite that seem to be invite only. I saw a topic on here recently where one of thise sites was named, but soon after the topic was deleted/edited and I haven't been able to retrieve the name. I really think it's weird that 2+2 doesnt allow talk about these sites, as a group of (Russian) regs seem to have acces to these sites, creating a large edge over others.
