congratulations on releasing this course! I'd like to clarify one thing, if you don't mind, sir. You've said that the people who own the solvers want you to believe it is the end all way to play poker, because they stand to make more money. Though, do you really believe that your course for just $1k will turn weaker regs into stronger one by a solid margin? Do you believe that others would believe in that?

Just to make it more clear:
You are either giving away a chicken that brings golden egs just for $1k (even NL50 reg can afford it easily even with current winrates) or you are keeping some deeper analysis to yourself and not going to provide really the best content ever released for HU.

But whatever a true answer is, don't worry - I can help you predict upcoming sales: they will be way higher than 100 copies for sure, players will bite it, because they are humans.

Don't get me wrong, Doug! I don't care if you sell it or not, if you'll make community stronger or not (I'm not planning to purchase your course, one of the main drive in this game for me is learning/excelling it by myself. It's like playing a game and using cheat codes, it can be fun just a little bit, but not for long time). I just wanna know: will NL50 reg who purchased your course will be able to defeat Raw Power?

people that PM me asking to be a part in group of people to split the cost of this course - stop doing it. That is not simply unethical - it is THIEVERY! Second of all, I've clearly stated that I am NOT interested in purchasing this course or any others anyway.

Thanks for the post, I think if you play HUNL and are a weak reg, this is a mandatory buy. I simply cannot even begin to imagine you not gaining more than 1k in value from this course over your time playing HUNL. It is a total of 30-35 hours of me talking HUNL theory and strategy, hard to imagine that not helping your game dramatically.

I don't have a reason to hide my strategy anymore. I don't play much HUNL, and don't have too much of a plan to play it moving forward, I will be playing much more live mtts/cash games/streaming. The last year or two of my HUNL was not very fun, I played very few games and ultimately got fed up with the waiting.

We are doing everything within our power to prevent sharing, but you can only worry about that to a point. If you start using different IP addresses it will lock your account, if you get repeatedly locked we will investigate. We are going to take as strong of a stance as is reasonable to prevent account sharing.

I would hope people would have some respect for the amount of work i have put into this course. I don't your post will help me to stop that behavior, but thank you for letting me know it is happening.

I understand the HUNL is your forte, but I think the market for it just isn't there currently. 6 max NL is where the volume of players play, and an in depth strategy in that would sell more. I'm currently a member of the Poker Lab and it has very good content. It certainly has made me a better a player and changed my thought process. Does the site have any plans to put out a 6 Max in depth course? That's where the majority of the money is IMO

We have plans to move into some other forms of poker as well, but we felt given my skillset this was the most appropriate first step. I am not successful enough at 6m NL to be teaching a course aimed at mid-high stakes six max players, and at upswing its important to us that we bring in experts to teach these upper level courses.

I would stay tuned over the course of this year.

Becuase the analysis of the challenge is relative to taught hunl strategy, we are only selling both as a package.

Taking into account the exponential deterioration of the HUNL forum with regards to relaying advantageous information, I'm not sure you can expect a high volume of glowing public reviews of the program if it is super beneficial. Particularly after Doug personally stated that this course is "not good for the HUNL ecosystem".

I'm interested in buying the course as well, but I'm not sure if its suitable for me since I just started playing HU and currently playing NL20/NL50. Think Doug did mention this is designed for mid to high stakes players?

Some thoughts on your HU course:

1hr of 1on1 coaching with you probably cost 1.5k + , and now you are going to sell several hours of coaching with you for 1k + you will give there something that can not be found anywhere (libratus analysis)

And in less then 3 months from release of hu course, your entire course will be available probably for free on torrent sites or for small fee you will be able to see private google drive with every video recorded. You just cant stop it... but I guess ~50k is 50k.. and you can't really kill what's already dead

^^Doug sells valuable information, but not a Wholy Grail and it's impossible for him to accomplish that. Average Joe won't be able to learn needed set of skills from the course alone and will not experience AHA moments, unless he is low stakes reg, because an average reg there is still pretty awful and will be able to plug in his obvious (for higher stakes regs) leaks.

People who think Doug is gonna sell only ~50 courses have no touch with modern reality.
