Pretty safe to say that when the "best in the world" are teaching, the game is dead.
Well said.

@ Doug,

first of all, same counts for me, fan here as well, but more like an enthusiast about your lifestyle and last but not least, congratulations to your onedrop ship.

I am definetly into buying your content for the HU, as you were mentioning we can just ask any question to you directly, i will do so:

I love to play at pokerstars just because of the software, i am sure there a tons of free money laying at HU especially at Zoom. As i was reading you were analysing $100 and $200 limits, is the content adjusted to some Micro Stakes NLHU as well like NL 50 HU Zoom at pokerstars?

Because if it is so, or you have a facebook group with players grinding and succeeding in this limit and higher like NL 200 NL 500 CGHU, then please let me know! Because i am already more than just a lead, i am definetly interested!

King Regards,
KingOkris aka Bjoern from Malta! wohooo

pretty safe to say that this is an idiotic post. there are better ways to get into doug's behind than turning an old saying upside down.

indeed, it is like taking something by saying and use it in the wrong context.

Not sure what you're saying, but it looks like you're reading subtext into his post that's not really in evidence. What he said is a straightforward and correct diagnosis of the current state of things.

Discrete, very discrete. Doug definitely won't notice blatant piracy in a public forum.

I'm not that familiar with Doug's material (and this is addressed to Doug or community) but afaik for all 100BB NLHE formats the game tree is v large.

Is Doug's above claim close to being accurate?

eg on the button your opponent opens x% to 7BB, is there material in the course that shows you how to play/combat this strat?

~The Brains vs AI analysis of how Libratus played, which is going to be a free addon during the open cart period (Mon-Friday this week), is about 4 hours of review on the bots strategy.

I am considering adding in some more content on just general hu theory and adjustments to round out the course, but this is the basic overview of what it currently looks like.
I like the sound of the Ben Sulsky material. I wonder if this is the 50k hand challenge analysis.

So to follow up on my previous point (now I've slept on it): Ben afaik played a limp/3x raising strat in the challenge. Is there material in the course that helps me understand and analyse non-straightforward strat's like this?

Even though $1k isn't a LOT of money in the big scheme of things I dont want to buy something with material I can get elsewhere or tease out from a $10 RIO sub. Is there UNIQUE material such as the game tree stuff? And is it comprehensive like you claimed ie it covers ALL the HU game tree?

Are there any upcoming different Doug courses planned in the near future?

Is the Libratus course discounted if by main HU series?

every area of the game tree is not the same as explicitly going over every single decision you could encounter (lol). I'm sure after getting the course you'll know how to deal with 7bb opens even though there probably isn't a chart for when your opponent opens to 7bb (lol).

i) have you bought the course?
ii) if yes, do YOU know how to combat all pf strat's?
iii) if no, STFU (or pipe down if i'm being polite )
iv) see bolded part above. You may have to elaborate on this cos I'm not sure if you're right. If you are right, respec'!

I'm pretty sure the guys who own solvers haven't done that much marketing, so there doesn't seem to be some propaganda to make people believe "it is the end all way to play poker".

On the other hand, there is a lot of propaganda and talk about how 'world class' the material is from coaching/video sites.

Often the one who talks the most has the least to offer.

Libratus hand histories would be more valuable to me than this course most probably but I think it's still only 120k hands, so I don't think one could dissect a full strategy from it.

Just buy a solver for the same/less price as the course.....?

Is this pack contains also fish play, how to exploit certain leaks etc etc?
Or its more game theory based all over the course and focus on vs reg battles like sauce?

It's probably going to be focused more on advanced concepts, I presume.
