Yes, you should always buyin full (100 bb). When you should sit out is entirely up to you. If you are playing well and/or playing a bad player then you should keep playing until he loses all his money or quits you. If you aren't playing well or feel like someone has an edge on you then think about stopping. Only you can know this really.

1. The basic strategy as I understand it is a ratio of buyins where you move up or move down. I have used 20/17 for a while and that has worked for me. So when I have 20 buyins for the next level I move up. If I drop below 17 buyins for that level I move down until I have 20 buyins again. You can change it to whatever you want. 25/18, 35/25, whatever.

3. Well, when you play on a site and you are looking at the tables and there is the same person playing every single day that person is likely a reg. If it is someone you have never seen before they might be a fish. Once you play on a site for a while you'll notice who is always there and who is new. Not all regs are good though and obv. not all new people are fish.

I was wondering what hands you call 3bets with vs unknowns early in matchs and why?

Also Do you flat your big pairs sometimes? or just always 4b them? (micro stakes)

Also I am int he process in watching pr1nndading (or something like that lol) pr1nndading s2, dog is heads up and real life ms hu grinder, what videos you think I should look after those?

That seems like a very agressive BR management, but I helps yopu to move up fast I think.

Q: When you move up you go after fish only?

Also do you have any parameters with your skill to move up? i.e. play any reg at your current level or whatever

it is pretty aggressive and if you choose this one you have to be willing to move back down when you need to. I made it up to 50nl for about a week and then had to drop back to 20nl and now I am back to 10nl. So yes you have to be strict and willing to follow this. It does amke it pretty hard to go busto though.

I definitely table select. There are people I wont play. I have started trying to play more just so I can improve but if I am getting beat too badly I will quit that person. I only use the 20/17 rule of whether to move up or down.

^^ welll thats all i have, 21 buy ins... 50nl hu cash looks soft with plenty of fish why i wanted to play it.. stars dont have 20nl cash ... only the sng's if thats what you are referring to

common ones i heard:

checkraise: duh fun fact, if the villain checkraises it does not count as the 3bet! checkraise is a stat all on its own

flop c-bet and how often he folds to flop c-bet (villain is fighting back with air/draws/overs?)

turn and river too! if villain is capable of reloading the gun for the 4th and 5th streets

don't use VPIP/PFR but the position stats of SB VPIP/BB VPIP, since there's only two positions in HU, better to get two different numbers rather than a combined total.

3/4 bets/ folds to 3/4 bets

There was a special stat i forgot what it was called but it showed when villain does a DELAYED Cbet on the turn instead on the flop. You guys can look for that one.

Anyways I'm sure i'm missing some stuff but this stuff doesn't matter to me, I play on cake network so hudless and note taking FTW~!

I like doyles for the rakeback + bonus but for every 80 cents they take 4 cents in rake

im interested in knowing, with what kind of frequencies people generally find themselves flatting a button open when they are in the blind.

i know, in general, in ring games, especially in lower stakes, usually it's 3-bet or fold from the blinds, flatting perhaps only to set mine, or because many people called, and you are getting a great price to see the flop, with a hand that doesn't have too much reverse implied odds.

but in HU cash, how often do you flat your opponets BT open?

i'm assuming it would be based on villains tendencies, but what's a general range, or even just a spot, that you would flat their open rather then 3-bet or fold from OOP.

obviously if they are opening the BT very wide, you can't just fold fold fold, against these opponets do you 3-bet mostly or flat call a fair amount as well?

i suppose post flop tendencies would be a big factor, if they will play their air passively on the flop, and fold it when you bet, then i suppose you would want to 3-bet them with a high frequency pre.


any other thoughts/input on this?

people will have different views on this. some say there's no such thing as HnR- ppl can leave whenever they want. others will say its an "unwritten rule" to not HnR.

personally i try to not leave w/o a warning a little ahead of time ("im done in like 10mins" or something like that) because i haate it when someone quits me w/ no warning so i try not to do it to others
