Recently, I have taken my poker to the next level in terms of seriousness. Before Black Friday, I beat 10-25Nl full ring for ~2bb/100 over 1 million hands (mass tabling), so nothing huge. That's not an option with the current state so I'm focusing on playing heads up on ACR as it offers more fish (regs like the Beast tables) as well as good traffic.
The thing is, I'm currently down 7 buyins and I feel like it's at least 50% running bad. Typically full ring is a lot less swingy but is this typical?
Here's my graph
Spoiler:
I know that headsup variance can be insane but how many hands does it take to show your true winrate? I truly am kinda lost when it comes to hands like these:
vs super maniac w/ 4 AF that was folding to any aggression
Spoiler:
No Limit Hold'em $0.25/$0.50
Winning Poker Network
2 players
Stacks: BTN - Hero ($55.80)
BB - BB ($86.89)
Preflop: ($0.75, 2 players) Hero is BTN with 7 6 Hero raises to $1.50, BB raises to $5.00, Hero calls $3.50
Total Pot:$13.00
Hero shows 9 9 (with Two pairs. 9s and 2s)
BB shows A 6 (with Flush, A high)
BB wins $12.50 with Flush, A high
Are there any HU regs that can give me some pointers about variance or am I playing poorly or am I just way in over my head? What I would consider "playing well" from years ago might not be a winning strategy in today's game I'm starting to think.

As the legend sais, soon you will live for 3 months with a wizard and he will turn you into mighty dragon slayer known as WCGRider and will sell $1k courses as the last squeeze out of HU community.
Now, seriously, HU variance is a b!@tch, but that's not your main concern given that you've posted those silly hands and asking if it was a bad play or a bad run.
P.S. Sorry, Doug, can't stop trolling you! I like you, but can't help myself lol.

You know looking back I definitely realize I was trying to prove my case. You got me.

You aren't ready for online 50NL if your WR was 2bb/100 before black friday and you havent really studied the game intensely for a while. The games are much harder online. If you're really asking about those hands/doubting them, you aren't anywhere near ready. Not trying to be harsh. It'd help if you dropped down just to improve your skills, and move back up gradually once you are a winning player
What a very elaborate point of conversation! LOL at you too.

Well thank you for this. This is honest input that actually caters to the conversation. I'll most likely move down and take a breather and deeper look into the game.
Meh, all three hands you posted are somewhat standard imo
The bigger thing about winning in HU is all the small and medium decisions you make, so posting big pots isn't always the most telling but as far as those three hands are concerned they were pretty standard.
running bad. gamble more. maybe roulette to win it back. take small shots first and then slowly build it up putting money on EVERY number. Guaranteed to win

Don't worry hes big time we are just meager peasants he don't have time to look for troll comments about him on 2+2. It seems like you are promoting his product not trolling him btw. The course is playing against other tough regs 2 to 4 tables on heavy volume deep stacked to balance out ranges so its hard to be exploited. Not sure this guy is doing that at 25nl.
I would not worry about losing 7 buyins. Truth is we go on big down swings I have had 40 buy in down swings so don't worry about it. Just keep asking questions about hands in the forum. If you ever want to move up higher and take on other regs and put in volume by all means get Dougs course it will be a huge benefit but make sure you have roll for low to mid stakes imo so the course isn't a big hit on your bank roll.
Since this thread got bumped maybe you see this and give an update? Hopefully you moved down and grinded some heads up
As for your original post it takes ages to get a true wr in HU, when you have 100k hands we can start to talk (or even 50k) but 10k is just way too small for us to be able to tell anything
As far as the graph is concerened it's totally standard for both a winner or losing player so can't say much yet.
Also just posting your base stats of vpip/pfr/3b!/F3B and steal/fold to steal would help us diagnose any glaring issues
