Villain is 22/16/5 over 200 hands. I havent seen him get too out of line, and hasnt overbet any rivers yet. I'm thinking I should of went a bit more my turn bet. Thoughts on the river overbet? Im thinking hes pretty nutted here more times than not to warrant a call

Pretty trivial fold. We're at the bottom of our range can only beat a bluff and we have to be right a pretty big % of the time. What is he even bluffing with? QT?

Yeah thats what I figured, He did it again a short time later on a similar textured board and thought maybe this is a thing. I play mostly live and you dont see this much at the 1/3 level

You don't see it too often at the micros either. You can have so many better hands to make this call with. His line does look really bluffy but I just don't see you being good very often unless the guy is a complete maniac but you said you hadn't seen him get out of line much

This was the other situation. I thought its a great bet on his part because i shut down. My hand is only a bluff catcher. But then, this is only a situation where he is only getting called by better, so maybe he is nutted again here most of the time

My default would be to fold JJ there too. It sucks when you feel like you're being exploited but you really can't beat anything. Can you use your hud to look at his HH against other players and see if he's ever shown down a hand where he plays passively and then over bets river?

Yeah I did, these were the only two spots where he did that, I just made a note to keep an eye out. Tried to trap him on a later hand when I turned the nuts by playing it passively, but he didnt pull the trigger this time and i probably lost some value playing it that way

effing poker

Obviously the nut flush has to bet. AJ might bf the river too but there are plenty of other suited aces that could 3bet pre and get to the river like this. Tbh without extensive history against V I just don't know if I really any calling range here except like a rivered 2 pair maybe? A3s? This is totally exploitable but our range is capped and v can reasonably have a flush. If he starts making this place too often were gonna have to start calling overbets lighter but I don't think we need to worry too much about being exploitable by folding 3 pair to the board when a flush fills out until we feel like we're being exploited. Even then I feel like a cr shove would be better than calling.
