Yea I can see how bad it is now after looking over it and I'm kicking myself in the ass for folding, but I appreciate the help.

Of course it was helpful. You're just too dumb to realise why it was.

K4o is a horrible hand and very difficult to play OOP unless you are a skilled handreader and have a massive edge in post flop play. The fact you have to ask what to do in this spot confirms that you are not skilled enough to be playing the hand to begin with.

Nobody else pointed that out but it's a trivial fold for you sir.

It is, actually. You're calling pre in part because you think you should get it in here.

btw all, there are people this is a fold against, don't hate on the question.

Well, folding pre would never help me develop those hand reading skills, but I'm almost sure I would've shipped vs a random opponent. Like I said before, I think the fact that I was playing someone who I recognized from the forum that I knew was a very solid winner kind of threw off my game. But thanks for calling me stupid, I appreciate it.

No hate on the question, just saying coffee is your run of the mill pot-button mashing monkey

Def fold pre (imo) vs someone you have no reads on how a person plays postflop. What exactly were you planning to do if you missed? Or if flop came favorable vs a btn 90%+ open range here (i.e. 552)?

Calling pre here obv helps you develop reads.
Also never folding here second hand v. unknown (even if you think they are solid, but hey its hu, everyones solid).
Bet more on turn.

yes fold pre in case the scenario comes where you flop two on a drawy flop, get your raise flatted, then get raised on the turn with a new board texture, and are unsure of what to do.

OP, in general, before you play any hand past preflop, determine all the millions of flop-plus-turn combination possibilities and if, during this visualization process, you see one combination where you will not know what to do, fold.

i saw the first video u cnat spel posted here, and i was surprised by how tight he was.
shipping is standard, but if i remember correctly he should be one of those people you may consider a fold against

TakeHerOnACruise, I think I may have misinterpreted your first post. The way it was written made it seem like some half ass response from someone trolling the forums trying to get there post count up. My apologies, but I think we both kinda let it get out of hand.

Too much results-orientedness in the thread, in my opinion, once Coffee gave results. Coffee himself did not actually comment on what his turn raising range is on that board, given action and match circumstances. He just mentioned his actual hand this one time. I'd be surprised, if he did sketch out a likely range for us, if our K4 is doing much better than being slightly ahead to somewhat behind said range.

OP's turn bet-sizing does complicate matters, though. But I agree with miniwiz's implication that it cuts both ways, and will cause some solid regs to just flat with draws/combo hands, while others will attack that size with those very hands and raise.

And yeah, obviously there are lots of people against whom we're doing just fine vs a turn raise.

But second hand vs someone I respect and think is solid? I'd fold pf. And I'd flip a coin on the turn. And size my bets bigger.

In conclusion, OP, I don't think your turn fold is "baddddddd" at all.
