Re: 50NL Top Pair Deep

if he's a winning reg, really fine to fold.

Lol, nits. regs will spike this board all day long with air, at least against me

What I am saying is if you b/f frequently on flops like this any decent reg is gonna start x/r his entire range and it will be entirely reasonable to do so.

Betting here is so, so, so bad if you're folding to a raise. Just check it back.

Re: 50NL Top Pair Deep

will always bet/fold here and once i think villian is starting to be over aggro and bet turn+river once i check flop then i will adjust and check this flop with top pair sometimes like on this board. but in the first place why are you playing a winning reg? rake is so high at nl50

again you don't seem to get it, it won't

he risks 7.25 to win 5.25 ---> 7.25/12.50 = 0.58

required success rate = 58%

i.e. to defend unexploitably (so villain can't bluff atc) we continue with 42% of our range. we have so many better hands/combos to continue with here if you consider our original range for cbetting a flop of this makeup vs a BB flat

Air is relative. The reason I fold vs. most 50nl regs is not only because of their bluff frequency but because all their bluffs have very good equity against us and if they have one draw they can bluff the other even when they miss and we can't really do much about it. Essentially we're in a spot where if he's a super bluff-happy reg calling down is still super marginal and probably not much difference in ev either way, but if he's a normal 50nl reg who just has a strong draw/straight/set every time here we're leaking massive amounts of money by calling.

I wouldn't call it so, so, so bad but my default is definitely to check in this spot against most players.
