50nl - Should I be folding this river? 50nl - Should I be folding this river?

Played the hand below just recently against an average opponent. Should I be folding river here? Given the run out do most of the hands I beat check back the river? I don't think he ever triple barrels and given they flatted my 3bet preflop I guess there are enough A-Q and K-Q combos. But is there too many boats and flushes in their range for the call to be correct?

They're never folding their hand anyway so it is slightly redundant. But from my side should I have x/raised any street at all? Maybe the turn?

I was weary of the board pairing on the turn and didn't want to x/raise into a boat but was there anything I could have done differently here?

Raise bigger pre (I prefer $5). Why did you check flop? It hits so much of his range that you're missing crazy amounts of value check/calling. If you're going to check, you absolutely need to raise. As played, I expect KQ and AQ to bet river so you definitely can't fold. Against a continuing range of KQ+, straights, and boats/quads on the turn, you're 51.3% so I suppose raise/folding is a possibility too. But your whole line is so weird that I'm really not sure what to do on turn/river.

    - almost everything in my opinion

Sorry for the almost zero-information post but I think you have a lot homework to do.

Agreed, this flop smashes his range, so you gotta x/r here. Tons of cards that can kill your action as well, any A,K,9,8 gives 4 to a straight. AP, not much you can do once he makes his hand. Would prefer a more aggressive line.

size your 3b between 9-10bb given his 3x open, particularly if you are mostly value 3b against weak opponent

cbet flop, cbet turn, jam river would have been optimal play. As played you got unlucky that he hit running flush but really you should have gotten all the money in there long before that river given your two hands/ranges.

Only part I disagreed with, c/r on the flop shows IMMENSE strength and a set at minimum.

    Raise flop

    Raise flop
So don't c/r flop but then you wrote raise flop? I'm probably misunderstanding

Did you mean raise turn? Because I like raising turn if we get there the way it's played in this hand. Q never folding, combo draws never folding, sometimes second pair won't even fold against bad HU players or those that like to level themselves into thin calls.

I'd bet river and call a raise on the flop, if any.

We 3b so we smash that board so check raising is not the best play imo. AK QQ, JJ, TT, etc which the villain never has or rarely has is not a good spot to raise. A decent player can bet fold QK AQ Q9 AJ to a raise which would be a disaster. Our range is to strong if we check raise its obvious its the nuts. We want them to continue with marginal pairs and improve on later streets.

I would prefer betting to charge for his marginal show down hands and also his strong hands that might want to raise the flop anyways like 2 pair or some lower straight. But it will give us an idea of what his hand strength is if we bet. By check calling it does balance out our ranges some when we do decide to trap with a nutted hand, but I am not sure this is the best spot to do it with.

actually, with most reasonable range assignments this flop favours caller rather than 3bettor

also, if it's obvious that when we x/r this flop we have the nuts, simply start x/raising all air and print money

Would be nice to print money by bluff raising this spot but he will have what he has sometimes combos 89 QJ K9 etc that blocks some of our raising range so that wont always work. Board is to wet for the 3b calling range imo to raise with an air ball when we can simply just cbet risk less money and make him fold out made hands 77-22 that are beating our air balls
