50NL, river spot vs nit

Villan is a nitty reg I sat while waiting for PLO action. He defends 30% of hands regardless of my PF raise size and 3b around half of that (like 14%, he 3bets stuff like KJo and such too).

He doesn't seem to valuebet too thin and I've seen him take weird passive lines where he checks top pair I guess to slowplay in single raised pots.

Is this a good spot to jambluff river?

OnGame - $0.50 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players

Hero (SB): $62.48
BB: $50.16

Hero posts SB $0.25, BB posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero has 8 9

Hero raises to $1.00, BB raises to $3.00, Hero calls $2.00

Flop: ($6.00, 2 players) 9 3 A
BB bets $4.50, Hero calls $4.50

Turn: ($15.00, 2 players) 2
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($15.00, 2 players) 5
BB bets $11.25,

Are you trying to get a fold from a random 4?It won't work.

Re: 50NL, river spot vs nit

Nits dont bet/ch/bet without being really strong, and his sizing on OTR screams he has it, what parts of his range are you expecting him to fold? you can't rep a flush on this river because you would most likely bet a FD on the turn, no? if you feel you can rep a good range here based on history, then it would be a good play. Or if he's a really bad nit he might fold a lot of hands.
