50nl: Q2s made trips on turn in 3bet pot, action?

Merge, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 2 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

    BB: $50 (100 bb)
    Hero (SB): $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q 2
Hero raises to $1.50, BB raises to $3, Hero calls $1.50

    Flop: ($6) 2 7 5 (2 players)
BB bets $3, Hero calls $3

    Turn: ($12) 2 (2 players)
BB bets $6, Hero raise or call? What size if you raise?

3 hands in, villain is a losing player over a small sample. Should I just call to let him keep betting or raise it up now to get value and set up a river shove.

What do you think is the best and for what specific reasons?

I would raise here. You rep very little that way and villain will probaply call/shove all kinds of hands (pairs, ace highs, draws, air). It's easier to get the money in too.

do you think hes going to barrel his entire range otr no matter what the card? then id just flat and jam anyriver over his bet. otherwise id at least put a minr in to set up psb on river. hes never folding any of his hands he calls with ott to your raise. i guess after typing that flatting keeps his whole range in and lets him bluff river. if we raise turn hes c/c or c/f river to us instead of putting in another bet, or just folding the turn. yea i like flatting turn

I don't think either is bad.

Personally I would raise this early to establish an aggressive image. People are always stations early on too.

if you raise and he has a bluff he will fold, if you call hes more likely to bluff river. and if he has AA you will get it in no matter what.
