have a note he min raised T8o in a 3b pot IP on 79Ar and checked down 5 turn, 8 river.

he's pretty love pre, but passive post flop. cbet 43%, turn barrel 41%

Pretty easy check/fold here. Check/calling can make sense if villain is turning pairs into bluffs on the river (as he should do). In reality, not many people at 100nl do this, imo.

Could someone elaborate on the reasons for wanting to check the turn? I could see doing it with the Kd, but without it it feels more like a bet no? Get value from worse Qx, charge single diamonds, etc?

Think betting twice is fine and river is obviously a check, not sure what to do if he shoves though. Flip a coin I guess.

God rivers are so polarizing.

Just x/f. Nothing worse is ever calling on a 3flush+3straight board and he's not sick enough to turn worse pairs into bluffs. He's just going to check them back.

I agree with lazaro the only thing calling a half pot bet on river more than likely has you beat........No value

Id probably just bet turn and check call river to bluff catch
