If the guy never pots the turn its a clear fold. On the turn I would call against any top pair type hands. You guys can see in his hand above he calls down with ace high. If this Maniac bluffs hes obviously not over betting the pot. This is a very easy fold.

No maniac is over bet jamming the river with top pair here. Its the nuts or nothing. It is clearly not nothing because he shows in the hand above he under bets the pot with his bluffing range. I am glad you posted this hand. This is a clear example of how many bad players are on 2+2 giving bad advice lol.

ok first, dont berate players u know nothing about. Two, who the hell r u? Tom Dwan? No?ok so shut up. And three, why does he have to have the nuts there? because u say so? imo, it was very played badly (coming from a player who actually makes money)... if that matters... so say wat u wish but dont tell ppl they're thinking wrong and ur way of thinking is absolutely correct.... thats y he posted his hand so ppl not one person could comment on the hand... i am not saying ur wrong.. but dont be so close minded...

Re: 25NL folding AA to maniac

OK, OP sounds like a complete douchbag who thinks he's the best player in the world and wants to brag...With that out of the way, I actually think he played the hand great. I would play it the exact same way, except i prolly would snap the river without thinking much and run into the nuts. Just cuz he's a maniac doesn't mean he doesn't get deal strong hands/connect with boards.
Like I said, I think OP is a complete douche and should go brag somewhere else, but I like the way he played the hand.

Re: 25NL folding AA to maniac

If he's really a maniac you would have 3bet him. It's better to take a small win than a big loss (as far as I know).

this is pretty roflmao
hand combos and player tendencies are closely related concepts... villain is going to have certain tendencies with certain hands. of these certain hands some are more likely than others due to hand combos. i doubt there are even a handful of players at 25nl that know anything about ranges so u can possibly get by playing your silly style but u wont be moving up very high

read the title only - don't do it, unless you have a real strong reason.

Re: 25NL folding AA to maniac

You are under-repped, he is a maniac = call. He could have anything. He can be value betting a king. He could have 6 7, 2 3, clubs, etc,. The only thing that beats you is a jack (or a boat which is a tiny percentage), so I would call.
