It's a complex question and not really nooby IMO but you may have a tough time getting an answer that makes sense if you don't get it.
Think of what criteria should be used to determine bet sizing, they are saying most of those criteria suggest potter on turn.
To name a few; what hands would we bet for value on this turn?
What size bet would we make w those value hands?
What hands would we expect villain to have here and what bet size will they fold to?
What would a bet, if called, do to the pit size and is it good or bad?
How much money will be left behind and would we be able to fold/want to fold if check raised?
What kind of SPR do we want for the river (stack to pot ratio)? For when we hit?/miss?
Do we plan on bluffing the river on misses and what's the most effective way to do that?
Personally, and I am not the HU player most of these guys are, but it seems to me that our line and our range is going to be polar as hell by the river and that makes me want to leave room to over bet shove hit or miss.
I'm thinking you want to bet as big relative to pot as possible when playing polarized range vs bluff catchy range.
