I get the K, but why is 6x better to bluff than JJ?

Re: 100NL turning JJ in a bluff against good reg.

blocks sets and 2pairs, hands he would call with against a small raise (and is still more likely to call a big raise with)

sure, not a big difference. But we have the freedom to bluff raise with the best possible hands on this river. Bluff raising JJ instead of 63 is like raising K3o on the button but folding K6o.

Re: 100NL turning JJ in a bluff against good reg.

So you are basically repping 2p +. Wouldn't you normally raise turn with FD? So now it's down to kx 2p or a flush. You said a good reg but at that level is he really good enough to know that you would do that with all your PP? Until he sees you raise the river with ak he cant assume you are a tricky player and he should be good enough to call your bluff.

I also stand by my statement that most of you snapfold AQ in this spot if you're villain. People in this forum have a habit of pretending to have sick gto play styles and capable of everything on the forums but you guys must not be playing on the sites I am because I have yet to see a 400nl HU reg (and I've played pretty much every merge reg who doesn't sit out) like that let alone a 100nl reg.

edit: this was in response to justanotherstory
most villains would 3bet AQ pre

Re: 100NL turning JJ in a bluff against good reg.

I think in reality we really only have a flush here when we raise(although fish dosen't know that) i would just call here, you are good too often to turn your hand into a bluff.

presuming that:
Ace/King/QQ/JJ here is the same range because...
villian bets all aces here 90% of the time because u check flop
villian bets 50% of kings here because you check flop
villian bets all his air here because u check flop which include straight draws and flush draws

internet, good posts - do you have two (or more) raise sizes here on river?

Re: 100NL turning JJ in a bluff against good reg.

****ty line. you bet all your bdfds on the flop. you won't have a straight here. so you're repping ?? this is much better on a 2, 7, K.

+1

This could be a good thing even if i'm caught here as i would be gaining a more wild & unpredictable image...25 is fine...I think villian probably has Ax...Could be Kx...I think I would say this is an B+ play...

This, or you bluff way too much here. Also I think you rep flushes not toooo well because you might be expected to raise the turn sometimes with those.

Basically it's not too bad but JJ is not the hand to do it with imo.

If he's a nit or a weak reg i like it. If he's a thinking player or a station, i dont really like it that much because you're going to get called out of suspicion like a lot, esp if you have an aggressive dynamic.
