fwiw. my plan is to a. fill up and we have obv. a stack off on the river or b. if we dont fill up and all draws complete we can call his bet or value bets if he checks and if all draws miss we can raise his bet and expect to get called by worse alot imo.

my problem with the turnraise is that our hand is so extremely face up with the flop check that i dont see any value in raising the turn in fact its a reversed implied odds situation imo

Re: 100NL - Trips no kicker

If villain is a stupid donk, he never ever 3 bet a draw (as big it can be) or any Ax IMO.

By checking the flop and raising the turn you represented only a 4 or a bluff.you probably cbet the flop with any draw or Ax who composed your range. So even villain is a no thinkiing player you represented a very narrow range. I don't see how he can bluff the turn here.

I probably flat turn and fold on a huge river bet. If villain bet small it's become harder ! lol

Maybe it's really spew but I didn't see how villain can bluff here.

Re: 100NL - Trips no kicker

is it right that villain will almost always play face up the river, I mean c/f when he miss and shoving better hands than mine ? that's what a friend tells me.

Really I tell it ?? lol

I forgot it in my post. But I think he never bluff a lot this river unless he is really aggro.

Call turn/call river. If checked to us on a non river are we checking or bet/calling or bet/folding. I really don't mind bet/calling as he cant expect us to bet after turn play.

That is some pretty bad logic, why would you ever want to call if his 3bet screams trips?

Fold the turn without a read that he can spazz out there.

i meant our initial turnraise screams trips i wouldnt raise the turn here instead raise dry rivers.

our raise is so strong because we checked flop behind which usually is EXACTLY a 4x

Getting in on the turn is -ev, you get calls only from better hands. I suggest calling down after 30$ raise. I think villain is never bluffing this turn but your relative hand value is too good for folding.

Or K7 or 87 or Q6. Maybe I bluff too much and therefore expect too many bluffs from others, but I'm pretty sure there's value from raising the turn. You really think people fold Ax or flush draws here?

I might not raise because I think an unknowns turn and river betting range is so wide that we get more value by calling here and getting another bet on the river, but I don't think people fold pairs to a raise here.
