Why would Romney announce? It gains him nothing since Nevada is not looking to be a contest. Poker advocacy will not gain him any Paulites. If you are picking Gingrich over Romney, you hate Romney more than changing his stance on poker will alleviate. He still has to look to his right, especially social right, flank until after Super Tuesday. If I am wrong, I am wrong, but ipoker is an insignificant pile of poop that gives him nothing at the moment.

I think one of the big problems with Santorum is that he might be picked by Romney for VP slot. In fact, on paper, he is nearly perfect. Romney has to pick someone liked by social conservatives, plus Santorum has wide name recognition, is a good debater, and is perceived to do well with Reagan democrats in the Rust Belt.
