The "big deal" is that the federal government is adopting a position that it is responsible for stopping online gaming. It's not restricted to credit cards, and the regs can be expanded at any time. It also creates a hostile environment for poker sites. We also don't want to look like we can just be pushed around, as that would harm our ultimate goal of clearly legal online poker.
