I'm one. However, at the GOP platform full committee meeting, a plank advocating a ban on online gaming was proposed. When someone opposed it on limited government grounds, that person was told to join the Libertarian Party. The plank was then added to the platform.

So, I took his advice and voted for Barr.

Mat Sklansky just posted an announcement directing people to both this thread and the other on this topic in this forum. Thanks Mat.

I'm glad 2+2 is helping with this important issue.

The NFL has actively campaigned against clarifying UIGEA and has opposed legislation introduced by Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) to regulate online gambling in order to protect consumers and generate billions for critical State and Federal programs.
It couldn't hurt to take 30 seconds and email the nfl and tell them how you feel about their part which is significant in all of this.

re: Old Thread before regulations were approved by the Fed

What is the likelihood the Fed will approve this? Their balance sheet is a nightmare and getting worse everyday. It used to be forty billion in capital vs 800 billion now its more like 41 billion capital vs two trillion. That's some serious leverage. http://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/h41/Current/

I'm going to contact a few people I graduated with that now work at Interior and a few professors I keep in contact with and have them comment as well.

FWIW...

I spoke to someone at the 888 # this morning, and she told me that the best way to have your message heard was to leave a message on the 202 #.

The form here says it's for matters relating to the NFL website, rather than the NFL itself. I think anything we send in that form will be discarded before it's seen by anyone at the NFL. I'd love to give them a piece of my mind though, so if anyone finds a good webform or email for these folks, post it here.

I think you're right, it was linked under "nfl corporate", so i thought it was more than just for the website. Maybe someone can find a better link

One method is a team by team process.

for instance, Washington and Carolina:

Bobo Fett and the other mods(that went unnamed ) that made the request to 2+2 deserve recognition as well...Bobo made the special request to have this thread added after Mat made the announcement post...The Mods were very helpful in the "other" forums by changing titles and made a sticky in some to get them better noticed by there members....

Thank you to 2+2 and the Mods..

Definitely kudos to 2+2.

Also thank you again to TE and the PPA, I hope our grassroots effort is helping whatever else you are doing behind the scenes.
