Poker players have made you who you are. Rich, happy, care free, etc.

When are you going to pay us back? When are you going ot do SOMETHING...ANYTHING?

You have sat here quiet this whole time(other than your constant opposition to the PPA), while we continue to suffer more and more.

How is it just ignored that 2+2 is a huge huge organization with 100's of thousands of members, and if a normal poker player looked at this company they would see literally no help from the site, only opposition to the biggest organization we have.

I would like to offer the most sarcastic THANK YOU to 2+2 I have ever given.

It's time to put the arguments behind and stand united on this. We can and will argue about the perfect organization but right now we have the PPA and we need them to win. They are more likely to win with the help of all us poker players and 2+2. Mason, please stand with them.

Why doesn't/wouldn't Mason Malmuth Support the PPA. I haven't heard that before, yet I haven't been around 2+2 for that long so it may not be that much of a surprise.

Dependent or Independent of the PPA, 2+2 has done NOTHING to help us, and it seems now is the time for them to stand up and help us regardless of if we are lining their pockets for doing so or not.

2+2, Mason, David, etc, have the greatest opportunity to sack the offenses of anti-poker actions. This site is the leader in all things it chooses to lead with regards to poker, yet for some reason it has chosen to not lead on the right of poker to be played in the first place.

Why is not every forum stickied with each new event with regards to our rights? Why has 2+2 and PPA not struck some sort of deal to fight for our rights? If we lose this fight, if we lose our ability to play poker online, 2+2 will lose a ton of money, yet if we win 2+2 will make a ton more money. I just don't get it.

If we lose this fight it will be because our front was not united, and the blame will be best placed on the owners of 2+2 due to being in such prime position, yet contradictory to their interests, turn it down

Is it because they're too rich? I mean, does Mason have trouble getting out of bed due to the wads of benjamins amassed on his floor? I thought rich people always wanted to be richer. 2+2 even doing the bare minimum would be a massive shift in publicity and strength. Instead, one of the leading advocates of our right to play poker (and 2+2's right to make money from us) is reprimanded for 'promoting himself' when it is clear that any self-promotion is infinitesimal while his efforts provided paramount value in the fight

2+2 seems to forget about all of us, the ones who have made them rich

Also, you can rest assured that I will NEVER purchase or recommend a 2+2 book unless the owners get their act together and fight for my right to have a desire to purchase their books in the first place

Quite possibly has some valid arguments about the PPA. The problem is we don't have the time to sort them all out and it is in the best interest of the players (and i assume 2+2) to join forces.
Let's shelve the PPA debate for the overall good of poker for the time being.

I will also be recommending anything but books written with 2+2 sponsoring them to any and all who ask me about poker.

If true, this is a legitimate concern. However, it has nothing inherent to do with the fight for poker rights.

There is no excuse for 2+2 not having their own action or just awareness committee. At the very least, there is no excuse for 2+2 not stickying poker legality issues across the boards..

Well, actually there is one excuse. If 2+2 is tired of using 100$ bills to wipe their asses and want to downgrade to 20$ bills, then their status quo is a good way of achieving that goal

on p5's right now in PD there is a big thread and TE is organizing letter writing campaigns, call in campaigns, digg's and so on. You know, the stuff that basically forced minnesota to withdraw that ISP blocking business.

i dont know how true that is. What i heard from a couple people is MM has a problem with certain members on the board at PPA. also he has a problem with what he calls "self promoting"

also believes that PPA overall goal doesnt have online poker players best interests at heart, which in a word is prepostrous.

I actually joined p5s yesterday so I could read TEs posts, digg, twitter, etc. his posts. If you go to p5s poker legislation page they have 4 stickies, and 3 are by TE. It is obvious they (p5s) support TE and PPA.

As for Mason I started hating him a long time ago when I bought Harrington on Hold'em and it looked as though they didn't even proofread the book.

How ironic would it be if the PPA loses, the US gets beaten out of the online poker market, 2+2 loses like 3/4 of its traffic and book sales, then David AIMs Mason
