KY Law Enforced

As some of you may know KY has been fighting online poker. Today I tried to connect to Cake Poker. Almost to much of my surprise, I was unable to connect. I am still able to connect to PokerStars and a few other sites for the meantime. I think this is completely stupid and an invasion of human privacy and our freedom. If the government takes control of the internet, what's next?

I'll admit that I'm out of the loop on this one... but I find it hard to believe that they could actually do this in that short of time. ISPs have always been against internet censorship and have always fought it. I think Cake might have just been down for you.

Losing the deep south player pool = not good.

Cake could be voluntarily refusing Kentucky IPs.

This is true. I could log into Cake today. Would be interesting to get other confirmation from KY players.

I have just tried to log onto Cake Poker. It still says I am attempting to use the application from a location that prohibits gaming activity. It is illegal to wager from this location.

I hate adding on to a something I just posted but I forgot a few things. Here is the website article that tells about KY Law aganist gambling.

http://www.pokerlistings.com/kentuck...-domains-31850

If the link doesn't work go to pokerlistings.com, poker news, law & business, then KY judge ruling aganist gambling domains.

If you are a customer of a poker room that is part of the Cake Network, it may be blocking you, but not Cake Poker itself. You might want to attempt signing up with Cake Poker which has never publically said that it will not accept customers from certain states.

Yeah states can't even censor bomb-making sites I don't think blocking online poker IPs is high on the priority list.
