I have received zero robocalls for this election.

(I've already voted, ftw)

So I get a robocall from Howard Lederer asking me to vote for Harry Reid.

Did the folks in NV-3 in Vegas have Howard call them to vote for Dina Titus also?

If you are going to have someone make these types of calls, maybe someone with no financial disclosure???? Bad form PPA. Bad form.

Getting people to vote for Democrats, particularly people like Reid who is friendly toward poker over a social conservative like Angle, seems like an appropriate use of resources. I should printout that next in line in the Dem Senate hierarchy is Dick Durbin, who is less favorable toward poker.

Any ideas on Chuck Schumer's stance on poker? If Reid goes down, Schumer is another likely candidate for Senate Majority Leader (assuming the D's hold the Senate).

Yes, we are. PPA's PAC, PokerPAC, is promoting endorsed candidates with things like this.

We are supporting endorsed candidates. The list is at PokerPAC Announces 2010 Congressional Endorsements. Titus is among them.

I'm not sure which candidates are getting robocalls. I imagine it's a function of how tight their specific race is.

I'm not too worried about your robocall, but I tell ya: I want Internet poker just as bad as anyone, but the thought of voting for Harry Reid makes my skin crawl! I wouldn't do it because the country is more important than online poker.

Then have no fear. Besides the PPA, Harry Reid has the iron81 endorsement. He is a fine public servant deserving of your vote.

Seriously, in that (and many other races) you really ought to vote for whats best for poker because either candidate actually doing anything positive to get the country out of the mess we are in is very, very unlikely.
