Please note that the registration process for email notification is no longer available. ****** [Updated 8/24] Here's a guide on how to find out what your current Full Tilt Balance is: To get your Full Tilt Poker balance, you'll have to download your account history. I just downloaded mine. Here's how to do it:

Re: FTP Claims Administrator: Claims process finally beginning! (8/1)
What about "limbo" funds? For example when I download my player account history I see that I had made several withdrawals, 2 panic withdrawals in the afternoon of the 15th of April, one on the 13th of April that I definitely know did not get processed and one on the 31st of March that I am pretty sure did not get processed. Am I SOL on these funds, or what is the deal with that? Is there any way to get this information about said monies? Probably not, but I am concerned by the sentence, "It has been determined that the calculation formula to be used for the Petition for Remission process will be based on players' final balances with FTP as of April 15, 2011 (the "FTP Account Balances")" as that is a significant percentage of my balance that never made it to my bank account.
Thanks |
Re: FTP Claims Administrator: Claims process finally beginning! (8/1)
I'm pretty sure they're using "4/15" as shorthand for "ending balance." We'll learn more as this goes forward.

Re: Full Tilt Claims Administrator: Claims process (finally) beginning "soon"!
Does this wording imply that they will not subtracting "phantom deposits" from the ending balances? I was under the impression that they had done that post 4/15.

Re: Full Tilt Claims Administrator: Claims process (finally) beginning "soon"!
why am i still really quite skeptical that we're gonna get a fair deal, or get anything any time soon?
why does it make me really angry to see us called "US fraud victims", when (despite some really poor business practices) we were all getting paid by ftp on a regular basis until the doj stepped in, and the rest of the world got paid back a long time ago? i wonder if they would be willing to change the wording to "victims of US corruption" or "victims of the DOJ". |

With that said, it is significant that the DOJ and Garden City are using account balances as a basis for the remission. (NOTE: I understand there are still questions about the definition of "final balance" with respect to medals, bounced checks, etc.) As you may know, and as other threads in this forum have detailed, the PPA has been educating the DOJ on the need (both legal and practical) to base remission on player account balances. If you have not reviewed them before, take a look at two memorandum we sent to the Department last year regarding the equitable treatment of players in the remission process. |
Re: Full Tilt Claims Administrator: Claims process (finally) beginning "soon"!
Seriously, why not call it poker bailout or something?
I used to love Fulltilt and always got paid. |

Is there a way to check player balances?

Re: Full Tilt Claims Administrator: Claims process (finally) beginning "soon"!
You can log in to FTP and request player account history (Under requests, I believe). Then you will be able to download a spreadsheet of all account activity (Deposits, withdrawals, player to player transfers) for a certain time period. It will show your balance after each transaction.
The problem, as I said earlier, is if you withdrew on or slightly before April 15, 2011. The withdrawal might be "processed" but the money never hit your account for obvious reasons. I am really hoping GCG/DOJ don't just go ape mode by staring at one line in the account history and actually give some thought to withdrawals made around the time of Black Friday and realize they would never be credited, and still deducted from the players' final FTP account balance. |

Until the time for that process, make sure you keep all and every FTP record you have in a safe place. Skallagrim |

Re: Full Tilt Claims Administrator: Claims process (finally) beginning "soon"!
Full Tilt didn't credit my rakeback until May 20... It is actually a significant amount. Hopefully the wording of "balance on April 15" really means the balance sitting in the account when the settlement was reached.

If you agree with their number the rest should be easy (well, as easy as any government process can be). If you disagree with their number there will be a procedure to claim a different amount and a procedure to resolve the dispute. Skallagrim |
Re: Full Tilt Claims Administrator: Claims process (finally) beginning "soon"!
Had to go back through my email just to see what the last email address I used with FT was.
Hopefully "soon" doesn't mean another year. zero |

The basic advice given way back when may need to be stressed again: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERY DETAIL OF YOUR FTP ACCOUNT THAT YOU CAN FIND/RECOVER. It is hard to say exactly what information will be needed and it will no doubt vary somewhat depending on the specific case, but that means that for now: SAVE EVERYTHING YOU CAN. Better safe than sorry. Skallagrim |
Re: Full Tilt Claims Administrator: Claims process (finally) beginning "soon"!
Can US players download and log into FTP to view their balance?

Re: Full Tilt Claims Administrator: Claims process (finally) beginning "soon"!
The PPA has posted two articles to their Facebook page in the last two days saying "repayment of players" or "payments" will begin shortly.
These titles are misleading and are going to lead people to believe that they are going to be getting their money back imminently even though we know that only the remissions process is purportedly going to begin shortly. I would suggest a clarification before people get all excited and then pissed of when they haven't received their payment many months from now. |

Requests-->account history. It will take you to a webpage, you fill out a little information, and they send you a spreadsheet. |

I'd be willing to bet a fair sum of money that a not insignificant number of people don't remember their login details and have minimal proof that they actually owned the account. |

It will take you to a webpage, you fill out a little information, and they send you a spreadsheet. >> Great tip, thanks a lot. I just logged in again yesterday, my balance in the cashier showed zero, but this request had the right info. |

Don't bother emailing support, this is the email I got back... ***************** Hello, Thank you for your email. Unfortunately we cannot provide your previous Full Tilt Poker balance or any information on previous deposits or withdrawals, as customers within the United States are required to go through a remission process administered by the US Department of Justice for access to balance or funds. You may continue to access your account and utilize the play-money features at Full Tilt Poker, however you will only be able to view your Full Tilt Points (FTP) balance. These points will only be available to you for use should you ever be verified as residing outside of the United States or Territories, or should regulation change in the United States.
