In PA, amendments adding video gaming terminals and iGaming (which includes iPoker) to a gaming bill failed, but PA allows strategic “no” votes by way of this “motion to reconsider.” In other words, an amendment can fail, but the holdouts can demand their pound of flesh for a yea, having demonstrated their strength to kill the amendment. Once done, backers can call for a revote. Here, that pound of flesh is VGTs. The revote is coming this week.
