What happens to the PPA if online poker does pass?

I guess this is the best place to put it, but will the PPA continue to push for player interest (favorable taxes, low rake, etc) or will they disappear after having met their main goal of legalizing online poker at the federal level.

I'm just curious.

IMO we will still need an organization to represent our interests.

If we get online, we need to be vigilant that legislators do not try to pass things that will reverse things and PPA can be the force that helps us do it.

I'm not sure how winning the first of 51 battles would change the mission.

Seems like the PPA might become a union of sorts, which I could take or leave.

Oversimplifying? Sure, but I can't be THAT far off...

Why don't you ask what happens when the PPA's money runs out?

I'm sure the websites that will offer online poker will very aggressively lobby against any legislation that limits the players ability to gamble on their sites.

PPA will likely die in favor of big money gambling sites doing the lobbying instead.
