Re: Fight for Poker Rights: Tuesday, May 24th (see post #1 for today's plan)
Thank you ppa for all you're doing to protect the game. Sounds like it was a positive day for the push to get ipoker regulated. I think it's great that we're picking up bipartisan support, but there's alot of new people in congress. Does the PPA have a list of the new congress and their favor or disfavorable ratings towards regulation of online poker?

Ron Paul actually informed me of this. I left a comment on his page to the nature of "Thanks for supporting online poker! You are awesome and I will vote for you when you run for President." He replied and thanked me but told me that he has to remove the post because the rules say that he can't have discussions of elections or voting on his Facebook page.
I take that to mean that there is some rulebook or guideline that Congresscritters must follow regarding social media. Keep that in mind when leaving comments.

Re: Fight for Poker Rights: Wednesday, May 25th (see post #1 for today's plan)
Fight for Poker Rights: Wednesday, May 25th:
- Let's all write follow-up and thank you notes to our Congressmen and staffers from actions coming from the Fly-In.
- Let's all tweet this notice: Stand up for #poker rights! Visit http://is****/MbrPbd on 2+2 and follow each day's actions in defense of our game. THX!
- Let's continue to own a lot of Facebook pages (senators, Congressmen, Congressional committees, etc.):
- The House Financial Services Committee's Facebook page is here.
- Let's get some posts on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce page (here)
- The Dept. of Justice's page is here.
- Senators' FB pages: Senator Facebook Listing
- For all of these, let's:
- Post the fact that you have a meetings scheduled with your Congressman (no need to post his/her name if you prefer not to).
- Mention that you are proud to live in a country where we the right to petition government for redress of grievances is protected by the First Amendment.
- Lots of posts on the issue of poker and lots of "liking" of pro-poker comments will help this effort as well.
Thanks!

PPA, if you are fighting for my rights, get them to bar bad beat jackpots. That crap needs to never be a part of online poker. Bad beat jackpot rake on micro/small stakes online games is deadly.

While I agree with you, I hope the bill is limited in micromanaging poker for the most part.
Keep hitting up Facebook, no reason we cant get 100+ likes for pro poker comments

This! If everyone on 2+2 was active on the FB walls they wouldn't be able to ignore us. It takes only 5 minutes a day. Use the same post everyday for all I care. Let’s GOGOGOGOOOOO.

Can not wait to read this when it comes out. Please let it be, at least mostly positive towards the player. PPA consulting one time.
