Thanks. My dumb arse posted a warning on the wrong Facebook page.

EDIT: no, I posted on the right page. Are you sure it is being censored? I can see posts that contain the word "poker" from non-friends.

It's probably just the spam filter. I reposted and got through by calling it an "online card game", at http://www.facebook.com/GOPFinancial...50597329095136.

Definitely. We should all post requests for them to stop censoring "poker".

The censorship is pretty ridiculous. Thanks for all the hard work TE and the PPA. Feels like we're getting closer

I believe that started the censorship yesterday and stop it once they where caught/called out on doing it. Remember this is the same FB page that kept resetting the poll every 15 mins because "regulate poker" was always the top vote getter.

I believe it started sometime yesterday morning and ended this morning. If you go back though yesterdays post you will now see some with the word poker in it. But you will also notice that their "like" count is lower than the ones around it.

Notice that only I and some else "like" Jason's comment and it includes the word poker. But the post above and below have 25+ "likes" they don't contain the word poker. The reason for this is only Jason's FB friends could see this yesterday. But now since the filter has been remove we all can see it.

Fight for Poker Rights: Weekend of May 21st
  • The Fly-In is in just a few days. With the weekend here and no one in offices for us to call, let's use this time to own some Facebook pages (senators, Congressmen, Congressional committees, etc.):
    • Let's continue to own the House Financial Services Committee's Facebook page (here)
    • Let's get some posts on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce page (here)
    • Senators' FB pages: Senator Facebook Listing
    • For all of these, let's:
      • Post the fact that you have a meetings scheduled with your Congressman (no need to post his/her name if you prefer not to).
      • Mention that you are proud to live in a country where we the right to petition government for redress of grievances is protected by the First Amendment.
      • Lots of posts on the issue of poker and lots of "liking" of pro-poker comments will help this effort as well.
Thanks!

Re: Fight for Poker Rights: Weekend of May 21st (see post #1 for today's plan)

We're only getting a couple dozen "likes" on all the facebook comments. Shouldn't we be getting a lot more than this? How can we get more people to do this stuff? I had at least 3 people who don't even play poker post comments and like other's comments. The PPA is supposed to have hundreds of thousands of members. Where is everyone???
