He has the best response so far to what happened. Stars hasn't done a direct appeal, much less spoken to players on an equal footing. FTP won't even pay us. *shrug* why should anyone give a dollar to the PPA when a site hasn't show a willingness to be a real bankroll and organizer? Id bet Ayre has a bigger budget for this than the PPA, why shouldn't players get with him instead of the PPA?

A member of the PPA Board of Directors since 2007, Muny has been an advocate for poker rights since the passage of the UIGEA. Muny responds to criticism the PPA received in the wake of the Black Friday indictments, discusses the departures of two prominent members of the Board of Directors, the May 24th “Fly-In” lobbying effort in Washington, DC among a variety of topics.

BLUFF: April 15 is a date many in the poker community will remember for a long time. How did you first hear of the Black Friday indictments?

Rich Muny: I heard about the indictments the same way as everyone else. There was no warning of any type. In fact, I was at the gym having a good workout. I got my iPhone from the locker and saw my inbox had exploded, along with several IMs. It was a sad day, for sure.....

This is a very good point. In the US we're supposed to out compete the world, not shield ourselves from them.

Florida US Senate race exposes Tea Party’s hatred of online gambling

The event, hosted by the Florida Family Policy Council and the West Orlando Tea Party, should give pause to anyone who thought the Tea Party’s purported libertarian principles would bolster the chances of online poker legislation being passed in Washington.

All four of the GOP wannabes – George LeMieux, Adam Hasner, Mike McCalister and Craig Miller – made damn sure they told their audience what it wanted to hear. And on the issue of legalizing online gambling, all four were categorically opposed to the idea.
