Live dealers in NC?

Senate passed the "live dealer" bill, now it's on to the house of reps. The article below says that it might mean the end of PokerTek and another article mentioned something about a possible new location closer to atlanta?

+1 if you add "digital"

anyone willing to take my bet of $1k that pokertek will not be offered within 6 mo of the live dealt games starting?

also read that if you don't see the bill presented within the next week or so that's bad news for it's passing cuz it won't go up for vote unless it has the necessary votes to pass and that harrahs/cherokee whatever has hired a lobbyist to help turn over dissenters.

on a side note, i was walking around atlantic station yesterday and realized that Atlanta is no more than 10 years away from a casino. too much money leaving the state to surrounding areas (cherokee, tunica, biloxi) and now a the conservative republicans are going to make it a talking point for the next session, perhaps to fund the HOPE scholarship program to its prior glory

That would be great. But its the conservative republicans that are holding things up in NC, and were against the casino from the start.

Re: Live dealers in NC?

BUMPIDY BUMP BUMP BUMP This has passed and Cherokee will offer table games maybe even as soon as July 4th. Finally Harrah's Cherokee will become a Casino instead of a Arcade.
