If I remember correctly you were bitching about WA players not stepping up, but when players ask for info on what you are doing it is a secret. Again Why?

Kind of contour productive for us to be calling reps and not be able to talk about what is in the works.

Hey TE,

Should we not be calling are reps and telling them that we support this?

Hey TE,

Why is the PPA rep from Cali asking for input from players, but the WA players being kept in the dark?

Despite your belief that you'll win repeal by 80% or more, the reality is that you guys have a real, hard, uphill fight to change this law. I'm certainly not going to post specifics until a bill is dropped. I'm also not going to commit to anything in the bill until the language is finalized.

All you have to do is tell your reps that you oppose the law against online poker.

No one is in the dark. Until the bill is ready to drop, it's not done.

Our efforts are strongly opposed. Would you like the bill to get scuttled before it even drops?

Re: How to fight the WA internet poker law

TE, come on, he never said we'd win a repeal vote by 80% or more and Im pretty sure you know that.

Its a hard uphill fight, I think WA players just wish there were ways to get more involved or that the PPA took more input from its members on how to proceed rather than simply being told this is what the PPA has decided is best.

Anyways, anxiously awaiting news on a bill dropping, guess we'll know soon.

Can the bill be modified while going through the different committees? Or am I mistaken about how the process works?

Eyes on the prize, gentlemen. We're all on the same team here. Our situation and road in front of us can lead to frustration. Let's take it out on those who oppose us with a dedicated unemotional focus.
