If you emailed them last week, that is what they responded with. I wonder if they changed the canned response to "this week".

At this time we cannot provide a specific date, but expect to be able to provide a launch date by the end of next week. Once the process begins, The Garden City Group, Inc. ("GCG") will email instructions on how to complete an online claim to all potentially eligible claimants identified by GCG utilizing data supplied by Full Tilt Poker (“FTP”). You will then be able to review your account balance. Payments will be made electronically after the close of the claim submission period.

If the forfeited funds available for distribution equal or exceed the aggregate FTP Account Balances for all eligible Petitioners, each eligible Petitioner with an approved claim will receive the entirety of his or her FTP Account Balance.

We have your registration in our database and will be sure to contact you once the claims submission process begins.

Thank you.

Re: Full Tilt Claims Administrator: Claims submission beginning Sept. 16th

has their been any change to whether people are getting 100% of their funds or not? or is it still 'if there is enough money blah blah blah'?

It is, always has been, and always will be based on "if there is enough money" in the remissions pool to cover all claims. However, there should be enough funds available to pay 100%, considering the amount paid by PokerStars and the amount reportedly owed to players.

Being that 100% of player funds are there but not 100% of players will submit a claim, what happens with the excess player funds?

So long as there is still money available, it is DOJ/CGC's job to try and get that money into the hands of those entitled to it. Although this situation is uncommon, in past remission cases when there has been more money than what is initially distributed there has been a second attempt to get people to claim it. Eventually, however, the matter will have to be closed and at that point left over funds go to ... the government.

Re: Full Tilt Claims Administrator: Claims submission beginning Sept. 16th

Sorry if this has been answered, I couldn't find it ITT.

How are player points being handled in each of these cases...

#1 I know how many player points I had and can prove it
and
#2 I have no idea how many player points I had but would like to be paid fair value for them.

Thanks.

We have no idea at this point what CGC/DOJ will decide with respect to player points, ironman medals, and other similar promotional credits.

If CGC/DOJ remains silent on the issue when the remission process starts, I have little doubt that someone will claim payment for them and thus force a decision.

now there's a reasonable and fair idea to benefit the victims of this fraud (and i don't mean the hijinks of lederer and the gang)!

and i'd say there's AT LEAST a 1 in 10,000,000 chance of this happening

I haven't seen any information on accounts that are frozen and pending verification. Any idea around this? Can't necessarily login to check balance.

Depending on the details, this may mean you have to do more to prove the account in question is yours and/or that the balance was not fraudulent.

But if you had an account with a legitimate positive balance, even a frozen one, you should be entitled to that balance as part of the remission - it may just take more effort to get it.
