Awesome. Thanks for the reply and support.

Obviously if anyone else spots any errors please ltet me know who it is, if you know their stance, and please list what state they are in. This is a huge list and trying to find one name takes a minute. Thanks.

Re: Creating a blacklist thread the list politicians for/ against Ipoker legislation?

Well this is what I came up with. Thoughts, spelling corrections, grammar corrections, factual/ politician stance corrections. Still need help on making sure names are in the right categories, list is up to date, question marked names at bottom are in their right categories. Thoughts on thread placement (I was thinking the political thread as that will get lots of traffic and comments).

I chose a controversial headline placing the highly searched keywords closest to the left and keeping it under 59 characters long to get the best action. Most of my keywords are searched anywhere from half a million - a million times monthly. I added hyperlinks to news sources to help it gain higher search engine placement as well as bolding keywords. The commenting and trafficing in the political forums should help it gain further higher status in the engines. I would also like to place politicians emails or message web page url next to each of their names so search engine traffic can easily navigate to write them if they desire. I've done the majority of the legwork here so comments to improve this are much appreciated. Thanks!

EDIT - Someone help me to figure out how to create these hyperlinks on these url's in the 2p2 format please?

Republicans & Democrats Who Discriminate 2011 Complete List

Republicans and Democrats have become increasingly more blatant in voting their own personal beliefs over that of their constituents over the past decade. They have discriminated against the American citizen by deciding their own vote is worth more than every Americans combined. Broken campaign promises have become a natural tendency within the Republicans and Democrats chosen members with complete disregard to their constituent’s personal freedoms and individual liberties>. These same Republicans and Democrats claim that their stance to gain more control over your once personal freedoms of choice do it to protect you from yourself. Congress in itself is made up of 535 members, a vast majority of that being Republicans and Democrats, who have completely and blatantly disregarded that of the American people, their own constituents, more and more over the last decade. These tricky politicians have used fear mongering tactics to implement legislation such as The Patriot Act and then expanded these bills to erode their own American citizen’s rights. These same tricky politicians have completely disregarded and ignored the vast majority of Americans petitions and grievances to shove a Health Care Bill down our throats. 535 people in Congress made a decision when the vast majority of over 200 million people opposed their decision. These politicians gave away over $700 billion of our tax money to irresponsible companies in bail out money that did nothing to stimulate our economy. These Republicans and Democrats have shown that our democratic way of government has no bearing on them, and that they will vote for whatever legislation they please regardless of their constituent’s stance.

Now America has come to a crossroad once more. A group of Republicans and Democrats have invaded Americans in their very own homes to erode more of our rights, even against a popular majority stance. There is a group of Republicans and Democrats who would vote against the American majority who desire to decrease not only the federal debt, but to create more than 75,000 new American jobs to strengthen the American economy. These select Republicans and Democrats vote against a piece of legislation known as H.R. 1174.This bill provides the federal regulation of online poker, a proven game of skill, to be taxed bringing in over $2 billion annually in taxable revenue, and creating a huge surplus of American jobs to reduce the unemployment rate in America.

These Republicans and Democrats have sided with a tiny fraction, a small minority who incorrectly categorize poker as gambling due mostly to religious beliefs.

Gamble (g m b l) – 1. To bet on an uncertain outcome 2. The casting of lots

However, the vast array of professional poker players have proven the very opposite of this definition through consistently winning year after year. Poker is a game of provable and documented skill. This piece of legislation is guaranteed to help stimulate the American economy, something these same Republicans and Democrats have failed to do thus far. Poker is Made in the U.S.A, and has a solid American foundation.

Let us not allow these same Republicans and Democrats to erode our personal freedoms and liberties of choice once again. Make them live up to their promises of strengthening our economy here in America through added taxable revenue and American jobs. These same politicians that vote their own way live high above the average American purchasing luxury cars and homes and buying high end appliances on Americas dime. They have retirements and pensions that many Americans will never be fortunate enough to see. Yet these same Republicans and Democrats would come into our home and dictate what hobby or pastime you or I may enjoy. I would end this by stating that no matter what your stance is on this issue be clear of these facts:

1) H.R. 1174 will create over 75,000 new American jobs, and conceivably many more over time
2) H.R. 1174 will create over $2 billion in new taxable income to reduce our national debt
3) No matter your stance on H.R. 1174, siding with these same tricky Republicans and Democrats on this issue opens yet another door in the future for them to erode more of your personal liberties by expanding the power and control of the federal government not only in your personal lives, but now in your own home. Ask yourself what personal freedoms that are taken for granted they might take from you next with complete and total disregard for what you think? More than that, ask yourself what freedom and form of government the brave soldiers have fought and died for in battle.

Below a list has been provided showing those Republicans and Democrats who are “For”, “Against”, or “Haven’t Chosen Side” when it comes to your freedom and the role our government plays and will continue to play in your life. Don’t allow them to discriminate against you anymore. Support this cause not because you like poker, but because you believe in the American way of life that so many have dies for. Write these congressman/ women and demand they strengthen our economy and our American way of life by voting for H.R. 1174.

Re: Creating a blacklist thread the list politicians for/ against Ipoker legislation?

I think pieces of what you wrote are a tad too partisan. Specifically the part about health care and the Patriot Act. I do see where you coming from, but I think that would only serve to ostracize certain Democrats and Republicans rather than garner more support.

I'll tell you what, let's get some more opinions on what others think. If it ostracizes a few but fires up the majority than it serves its purpose. You'll never please everyone especially when it comes to politics, but if it is agreed on by the majority we'll change it. We just want maximum results.

I'm going to keep playing with these links to try and get them to work so it may take a few reprints of this same letter.

I have met with one of his reps in regards to recovering my funds. The guy was supposed to get back in touch with me but never did (lol) so I will be following up.

I asked a secondary question about Carney's possible stance re: iPoker. The rep was not sure, but stated that Carney in the past has expressed reservations about expanding gambling activity due to concerns about addicts getting in over their heads.

I would put him as neutral to slightly negative until I get more information.

Also, I really think that you should move this post to the Legislation forum. It gets more traffic and you are likely to get more responses.

Its been posted in legislation. I took out a few redundant lines and added in the PPA petition link at the bottom. Cleaned up some of the grammar and spelling. Please everybody make sure to continuously bump and comment in the thread to keep it going ty
