Hi everyone. I'm NOVACANE from pokerstars and just wondered if anyone has heard of poker coming back to the states? I'm getting the itch to play again, and miss all the buddies I made on line. Thx for any response.

Online poker has been made legal and has been regulated in the US for several months now. Where have you been again?

the status of online poker 'coming back' depends on which state you're gonna be living in and what your state legislature thinks about regulating it. 'back' could also mean something different than what you probably expect it to mean, depending on the breaks.

that being said, at the end of this year, after november, we'll get word on if anything will happen federally, which would provide a much better chance of including all of us in the 'coming back' bit. you can help with this very important push by participating in the Daily Action Plan, which has a thread in most online poker forums on this website.

and listen, nobody gives a **** about your pokerstars screenname. you barely played, and it's got nothing to do with this forum or anything you're posting about. i mean, 'hey', but, it's not even like you played enough to gain any name recognition. who would know you? and what difference would it make if they did? anyway, i'm just sayin, don't feel bad about misstating your screenname twice in one post, cause, nobody really gives a ****. i don't know what narcissism in you makes you think that that info would help in any way, but it's a bad instinct. cut that impulse out of your life and you'll be better for it.

All you really need in legislation is the stickies. All you really need to know for federal legislation is if Harrah Reid is trying to attach his bill to something. That kind of thing spreads.
