It's simple really
It's because Pokerstars is not in this for you, or for me, or for any of us. Pokerstars is in it for themselves. They aren't going to spend a dime lobbying to create an industry that they are excluded from. Period.
They are more concerned with building the brand they paid five billion dollars for than anything else, and no one should be naive enough to think otherwise. They are not our friend nor our ally. The players are a 'fan base' they hope will speak up for them, but they don't really care if we do or not
