Sent to Rick Perry. LOL that he has the time or interest to even listen to a staffer about this subject. Still I sent one.

Also added a line about "If Texas Hold'em can't be played in Texas then something is seriously wrong."

If you wish to do more today, please start contacting members of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee (Facebook, Twitter and, if you're a constituent, email) regarding their Nov. 17th hearing to examine the impact of Internet gaming regulation on Indian tribes. Perhaps say something along the lines of:

Quote:
The U.S. Congress is considering legislation to license and regulate online poker. As a poker enthusiast, I encourage a competitive marketplace for Internet poker. I welcome a variety of entities to be eligible for Internet poker licensure, including Indian tribes, state lotteries, pari-mutuel racing, commercial gaming companies, and others that meet appropriate suitability requirements. By allowing for a competitive market, we can ensure the best consumer product and also ensure the greatest amount of revenue.

If you have not done so already, I urge you to please support HR 2366, the bipartisan Online Poker Act.
