I plan to move to Europe (most likely France). How about taxes from poker winnings in France? If I make 3k euros for month do I have to pay taxes? How many percent? I'm really confused because I cant find any legitimate information about this subject. It could really help if someone experienced would clearly explain this.
Thanks.

Don't, I'm french and if you live off your own business (eg: poker player) you WILL pay at LEAST 34% + at LEAST 2k€ in random surprise taxes per year (contribution foncière des entreprises, contribution aux allocations familiales, contribution aux formations etc.) per year

France is ******ed for poker

Are you talking about the auto-entrerpreneur route here? I'm an American living in France, who might try and make a go of it via the auto-ent. route after I'm done studying for a couple years if I can figure out how to get citizenship. Honestly, I wouldn't mind paying exorbitant taxes b/c I find the cost of living so much cheaper than a comparable city in the USA.
