Hi,

I'm an online professional poker player and I just moved to London.

I would like to know what do I have to do to become a UK resident, knowing that I don't have to pay taxes on my winnings and that I'm ofc self employed .

What steps do I have to follow ?

Thanks a lot for your help guys !

A flat or a part of it and register as a resident.

You are not self employed as a UK resident professional poker player. There is no such profession in the UK of professional gambler/poker player. You are classed as unemployed or i generally put down independent means when asked my status.

Having your name on a rental agreement and applying for a national insurance number would be enough to be a resident in the UK.
